Faye Wong’s 19-Year-Old Daughter Seen Vaping
Li Yan was with her dad, who did not bat an eyelid at his daughter’s vaping habit.
Lately, a photo of Li Yan, the daughter of Mandopop diva Faye Wong and her second ex-husband Li Yapeng, has stirred up quite a bit of controversy.
The 19-year-old and her dad were seen leaving a restaurant in Beijing. Li Yan was then photographed fishing a vaping device out of her pocket and taking a hit from it.
Netizens were up in arms over Li Yan’s “harmful habit”.
They also had issue with Yapeng’s nonchalance to his daughter vaping, with many saying he was already used to it.
While it is legal for people to own and use tobacco flavoured e-cigarettes in Mainland China, many felt Li Yan is too young to be vaping and were concerned for her health.
It was also assumed she has been vaping for a while now given how comfortable she looked using the device.
Others, however, were not surprised as Yapeng and Faye are known to be heavy smokers and they believe Li Yan was influenced by their behaviour.
