Former After School Member Lizzy Concerns Fans With Cryptic Social Media Post, Explains The Misunderstanding
She edited her first caption.
Lizzy (also known as Park Soo Ah), a former member of After School from 2010 to 2018, recently made a cryptic post online that concerned fans.
Lizzy released an Instagram post with the caption, “Goodbyeee my life~” on March 9. Accompanied was a smiling photo of Ariel from Disney‘s The Little Mermaid. In this movie, Ariel gave up her life as a mermaid to stay on land.
Fans were immediately concerned about Lizzy’s well-being, commenting, “I’m worried,” “Cheer Up,” “I’m rooting for you,” “Supporting you,” “Always here for you,” and “Fighting.”
She later revised the caption to clear up any misunderstandings. Rather than saying “goodbye” to her life, she said she was welcoming the year ahead.
Hello to my new and highly-anticipated life in 2022~ Ha he ha ha ha.

Lizzy assured fans that she was fine, apologizing for worrying them. She also clarified that there was no deep meaning behind choosing Ariel as the accompanying photo.
I think I caused a misunderstanding with my previous caption, which was interpreted completely differently, compared to what I intended it to mean. Also, the Little Mermaid character Ariel is my favorite and I chose to post her picture because she’s cute! I’m sorry for causing concern for no reason. Thank you.

Last September, Lizzy made headlines for a tearful Instagram Live where she apologized for her drunk driving incident in May 2021.
She still sometimes updates fans with photos of herself on Instagram.
