Teresa Giudice’s Husband Luis Ruelas Reacts to Rumor They Sent Joe & Melissa Gorga Bill for Skipping Wedding

Teresa Giudice‘s new husband is setting the record straight.

Over the weekend, the 50-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star married Luis “Louie” Ruelas in a lavish ceremony in New Jersey.

While many Bravo celebrities were in attendance, Teresa‘s brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa decided at the last minute to skip the wedding.

A few days after the wedding, a report came out that Teresa and Louie sent Joe and Melissa a bill for skipping the big event.

Shortly after the report went viral on social media, Louie released a message setting the record straight.

On Tuesday (August 9), Louie commented on a Real Housewives fan account on Instagram, clarifying that he and Teresa never sent Joe and Melissa a bill.

“We would never in a million years ask for money from Joe and Melissa – we are not petty. Joe and Melissa were missed ❤️” Louie wrote.

Teresa‘s RHONJ co-star, and close friend, Jennifer Aydin also addressed the report, tweeting, “I just saw some wackadoo #fakenews and Teresa and Louie would NEVER be so petty #facts.”
