Ellen Pompeo Joins ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Co-Stars at People’s Choice Awards 2022

Ellen Pompeo hits the blue carpet with her Grey’s Anatomy co-stars for the 2022 People’s Choice Awards!

The cast of the hit ABC show – James Pickens Jr., Kelly McCreary, Caterina Scorsone, Chandra Wilson, Jake Borelli, and Camilla Luddington – stepped out for the event on Tuesday (December 6) at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

While on the red carpet, Ellen opened up about how many more episodes she’ll be in on the show, after it was announced she’d be stepping back from the series.

“I think I am really just in the finale this year,” Ellen shared with E! News. “I think we’ve aired six episodes or seven episodes, possibly. Maybe after the winter hiatus, I am in one more, maybe, and then the finale, actually.”

Ellen also spoke about the fans’ dedication to the show, and credited them for being the main reason it’s still on the air.

“They make it all possible, power to the people!” she says. “I mean 19 seasons, they really have been amazing. Without them, we can’t do anything. We can’t do two seasons.”

The Grey’s cast was joined at the event by Olivia Wilde, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Dwyane Wade, Pose stars MJ Rodriguez and Billy Porter, Carrie Underwood, and recently married Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams.

Niecy Nash and her wife, Jessica Betts were also there with Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Ana Gasteyer, Laverne Cox, The Handmaid’s Tale‘s McKenna Grace, and Stranger Things‘ Noah Schnapp.
