Alicia Keys’ Son Genesis Protects Her at Concert Following Recent Incidents During Live Shows

Alicia Keys‘ son, Genesis, is the most dedicated bodyguard at her show.

The 42-year-old “Girl On Fire” hitmaker is on the road for her Keys to the Summer Tour, and her eight-year-old son is making sure no one throws anything at her onstage.

Following recent incidents where artists like Bebe Rexha and Drake have been assaulted in the middle of performances, Genesis wasn’t taking any chances.

On Monday (July 31), Alicia‘s husband Swizz Beatz hopped on Instagram to share photos of Genesis standing onstage while his mom played at the piano. He had a serious, watchful look on his face and appeared ready to spring into action to protect her if anything happened.

“He heard how people been acting at shows lately. My boy serious in real life,” Swizz wrote on the first photo.

He wrote more in the caption: “My boy said I’m not playing no games on moms stage 😂😂😂😂 He a real serious one 😂 Thank you Gen we love you and your protection 😂 He didn’t care she was live on stage 😂😂😂😂”
