Dylan Wang and Bai Lu’s Promising Chemistry in “Only for Love”

Having found success due to their respective series, Till the End of the Moon <長月燼明> and Love Between Fairy and Devil <蒼蘭訣>, Bai Lu (白鹿) and Dylan Wang’s (王鹤棣) new collaboration Only for Love <以愛為營> is set to air at the end of October.

Days before its broadcast, still photos of various scenes of Only for Love were leaked. Dylan and Bai Lu were seen sharing a heated kiss. In another photo, Dylan was seen hoisting Bai Lu over his shoulders with one arm with ease.

Adapted from the novel Erroneous Flirtation <錯撩>, Only for Love follows reporter Zheng Shuyi (Bai Lu) who accidentally misses her boyfriend’s birthday while busy interviewing finance executive Shi Yan (Dylan Wang). Precisely because she missed her boyfriend’s birthday celebrations, she caught him cheating with another woman. Wanting to get back at her ex-boyfriend for cheating, Zheng Shuyi decides to pursue the other woman’s uncle who shockingly turns out to be Shi Yan.

In contrast to the overused Cinderella trope where she meets a strong CEO boss character. Only for Love depicts the story of two strong-headed and career-focused individuals who share similar values regarding finances.

Praised for their chemistry, Dylan and Bai Lu were also seen to be highly compatible during their variety show, Keep Running <奔跑吧>, where Dylan was seen carrying Bai Lu bridal style while performing six squats in a row.
