“She’s Completely Different From Neck Up”: HK Actor Charlie Cho Says He’s Disappointed With How Amy Yip Looks Today

His insensitive remarks on the 57-year-old former actress are hilarious considering he is not a fresh young thing himself.

Hong Kong actor Charlie Cho, 73, was a familiar face in the ’80s and ’90s, playing multiple supporting roles in films such as My Darling, My Goddess and High Risk.

Though the former ‘King of Category III films’ is now based in Sichuan, China and rarely makes public appearances, he recently attended a press conference to promote upcoming film Business Proposal and made some very interesting comments about ’80s Cat III screen goddess Amy Yip, 57.

Charlie shared that he initially wanted to invite the former sex symbol to shoot a movie but was taken aback when he met up with her.

“She looks the same from the neck down, but completely different from the neck up,” before saying he was disappointed by what he saw.

Charlie went on to say that Amy also sent him a recent video of herself and he was shocked to see that she now “looks like [his] niece”.

We’re not clear what that means but we’re Amy sure looks younger than most 57-year-old women.
