Samantha Ko Accused Of Faking Home Tour As Her Place Doesn’t Look Lived In And There Are Too Few Books On Her Shelf

We didn’t know there’s a minimum number of books a person must have in their home to be considered legit.

Recently, TVB actress Samantha Ko took to Chinese social media Xiao Hong Shu to share a video about a day in her life.

In her video, the 37-year-old star also gave everyone a tour of her home.

Samantha documented herself watching TV while lounging on her large L-shaped sofa, making coffee in her open-concept kitchen, and even exercising in her living room.

However, netizens seem to think that something was off about her home.

In the clip, Samantha was seen reading Liao-Fan’s Four Lessons, a book written by Ming Dynasty Chinese official Yuan Liaofan.

Eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Samantha only had a few books on her book shelf. For some reason, they came to the conclusion that the home tour was staged and that the actress doesn’t even live there.

“Would you put fake books used for show in your own home?” asked one netizen.

Some also said Samantha’s apartment was too neat, and didn’t look lived in.

In Samantha’s defense, this wasn’t the first time she has featured her home in videos.

On top of that, reports say that Samantha only recently moved to this fancy apartment on Cove Hill, which is located in Hong Kong’s Sha Tin District.

The actress used to live in a HK$5.25mil (S$900K) 522 sq ft two-room apartment in the Yau Tong Peninsula East development.

Maybe she just borrows books from the library?

All we can say is she definitely knows how to enjoy life
