Guess the netizen did not recognise the Taiwanese actor from his pic on the ID.
Earlier this week, a Taiwan netizen shared on a Facebook group named “I am from Yonghe” that she had found a missing wallet.
The woman posted a photo of said wallet as well as a healthcare card that was in it, in hopes that the Internet could help to locate its owner.
Though she had blurred out the name on the ID, netizens quickly recognised that the individual in the photo is Taiwanese actor Blue Lan, 45.
According to reports, the woman had picked up the wallet at the intersection between Yonghe district’s Bao’an Road and New Taipei Expressway.
She then took the wallet to the police station before posting about it on Facebook.
The police also confirmed that Blue had retrieved his belongings from the police station around 30 minutes after they were turned in.
The actor subsequently took to his socials to respond to the woman’s post.
“Thank you to the compassionate ‘I am from Yonghe’ group, I’ve already retrieved my wallet. I also managed to find the missing items in the wallet by tracing my steps. I’m really thankful to everyone,” he said.
