Last week, Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire, 49, made headlines after he was spotted with 20-year-old actress-model Lily Chee at billionaire Michael Rubin’s star-studded Fourth of July party.

Tobey had his arm around Lily as they left the shindig, sparking rumours that they are dating.

Fans criticised the actor, known for being a ladies man, for dating someone 29 years his junior.

What’s even more shocking is that Lily is only three years older than Tobey’s 17-year-old daughter, Ruby.

He was previously married to jewellery designer Jennifer Meyer for a decade from 2007 to 2017. They also have a 15-year-old son, Otis.

There were comments like “Sick old man”, “What is with Hollywood men and young nepo babies?” and “Dating someone who could be your daughter is utterly repulsive.”

Many also compared Tobey to BFF Leonardo DiCaprio, who has a penchant for dating women under 25, saying they have similar taste in ladies and are “predators”.

Born in Atlanta, Lily, whose dad is Chinese-Malaysian and mum is Irish and Scottish, is a rising star in the modelling world.

A student at Columbia University, Lily was talent scouted at the age of nine at a grocery store, which led to a modelling career.

The 1.73m model has starred in fashion campaigns for Valentino, Dior, Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein, and has also made appearances in Marvel’s Daredevil series as a young Elektra and in Netflix medical drama New Amsterdam.

Lily boasts massive followings on TikTok and YouTube, and together with her younger sisters Mabel and Nuala, aged 18 and 15 respectively, they have been described as the next ‘Hadid or Jenner sisters’.
