HK singer Eason Chan had Michelin-star meals while hospitalised
On June 10, Hong Kong singer Eason Chan had to receive over 30 stitches after suffering a fractured jawbone and deep cut on his chin.
The 49-year-old artiste sustained these injuries after fainting from a heat stroke while playing tennis that afternoon.
He also had to stay at the hospital for some time.
Good news is that a recent report stated that his stitches have been removed. Also, the Cantopop star has been discharged from the hospital and is on the road to recovery.
It also turned out that during his hospitalisation period, the superstar received first-class treatment… where his meals were concerned.
They were prepared by Hong Kong Michelin-starred chef Vicky Cheng and his team.
Due to the injury to his cheekbone, Chan could only consume liquid and soft foods such as porridge and eggs.
So Chan’s wife, Hilary Tsui, got Cheng’s help.
Tsui expressed her gratitude on Instagram Story recently, praising Cheng for being “incredibly thoughtful” when preparing meals during her husband’s treatment.
She wrote: “When Eason was in the hospital and couldn’t eat, Chef Vicky prepared a special soup for him to drink. I want to thank him for his kindness and care.”
Cheng is the owner of two renowned restaurants, VEA and Wing, located in the Central district of Hong Kong.
