British pop band 911 to hold concerts in Kota Kinabalu and KL in October

British pop group 911 will be staging two shows in Malaysia next month.

In celebration of its 30-year career, the trio will be holding a concert at Hakka Hall in Kota Kinabalu on Oct 1 and at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on Oct 3.

Fans can expect classics such as Bodyshakin’, I Do, All I Want Is You and more.

The band was in Malaysia in 2019 for its Reunion Tour.

Formed in 1995, 911 comprises Lee Brennan, Jimmy Constable and Simon “Spike” Dawbarn.

The group made its debut in 1996 with its single, A Night To Remember, and gained recognition that following year with its first album, The Journey, which was certified Gold by the BPI (British Phonographic Industry) and reached 12x platinum in Malaysia.

The boy band has sold 10 million singles and 6 million albums around the world.

The band split in 2000 but reunited in the reality-documentary series, The Big Reunion, in 2013.
