Famously Bad-Tempered Francis Ng Savagely Turns Down Fan Asking For Photo On Flight

Is this why people say it’s better to not meet your idol?

A netizen recently took to their socials to share that they had bumped into Hong Kong actor Francis Ng on a HK-bound flight.

From the photos, the 62-year-old could be seen carrying a black leather tote bag. Interestingly, dangling from the bag was a Lotso stuffed toy — you know, the diabolical strawberry scented teddy bear from Toy Story.

Who knew the notoriously stern actor would like such cutesy things right?

The netizen shared they were surprised to see the star sitting behind them on the plane and that they got a shock when he took off his mask because he “looked so fierce”.

His unfriendly demeanor, however, did not deter the netizen from approaching the star to ask for a photo.

If only it did.

“What for?” Francis shot back.

Though shocked by Francis’ reply, the netizen said the rejection was understandable too.

“Actually I get it, it’s a personal trip. I should have just asked for his autograph!” added the netizen.

Netizens, however, were not so forgiving towards the actor and called him out for making the situation so awkward.

“He’s so rude. He could have just declined it. Why did he have to say ‘What for?'” wrote one netizen.

The consensus though was that Francis was in a bad mood as usual and that his behaviour was totally in line with his reputation.
