Louis Koo Mocked For Passing Crying Toddler Back To Mum When Taking Pics At Birthday Bash
Hong Kong star Louis Koo turned 54 on October 21 and as with tradition, he threw a lavish bash to celebrate the occasion with fans and friends.
Held last weekend at a restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui, the 60-table banquet saw guests like Louis’ mum, as well as the mothers of Charmaine Sheh and Sandra Ng, veteran actor Wu Fung and Amy Yip.
During the celebration, Twilight Of The Warriors: Walled In star Tony Wu surprised everyone with a performance, and after singing the birthday song, Louis arranged for group photos with each table of guests.
When posing for pics, things took an unexpected turn when a fan’s young daughter, who was sitting on Louis’ lap, suddenly burst into tears.
Though Louis remained composed, he swiftly handed the crying girl, who looked to be around two years old, back to her mother, much to the amusement of fans present.
A video of the hilarious moment went viral online, sparking mixed reactions among netizens.
Some joked about how Louis “gave her back in seconds”, while others praised his calm and polite demeanor.
There were others, however, who felt he could have handled the situation differently.
“Am I the only one who thinks he slightly neglected the baby’s safety?” asked one user.
Another mocked: “He’s so kind, but only for three seconds.”
