Starting Jan 2020, China and India Will Not Require a Visa To Enter Malaysia
Tourists from China and India will be granted a Visa exclusion to enter Malaysia effective 1st January to 31st December 2020 following an announcement by the government yesterday (28 December 2019).
This exclusion will be limited to a maximum of 15 days and visitors from both nations would still have to register themselves along with details of their travel plans into an electronic registration system before they could enter the country.
The tourists would also have to make their journey within three months after registering themselves in said electronice registration system.
Further in the matter, they would not be required to apply for any other passes apart from valid return flight tickets to their home countries or other countries as well as sufficient funds for their visit.
Both Chinese and Indian nationals will only be allowed to enter and leave Malaysia through authorised airports.
To re-enter Malaysia, tourists from both nations can only do so 45 days after leaving the country and repeating the process required to enter.
