Korean Woman Gets Shoulder Fillers To Achieve Blackpink Jennie’s “90-Degree Shoulders”

By now, we are used to seeing fans going under the knife to look like their favourite K-pop idols.

Glass skin, V-shaped jaw lines, sure,

But it seems South Korea’s latest obsession are shoulder fillers.

Really. We kid you not.

Blackpink’s Jennie is now the gold standard for what many call “perfect 90-degree shoulders”, prompting many to seek out aesthetic treatments.

In a video posted to TikTok, Korean content creator Yunny is seen at an aesthetic clinic in Seoul getting fillers in the shoulder area to achieve the same slender frame as Jennie.

After the filler was injected, the result was instantaneous on Yunny.

Her shoulder could literally be seen lifting into place, prompting a squeal of joy from her.

A quick check online showed that the trend to get “Jennie’s shoulders” has been popular since 2021 and is considered a legit beauty standard in South Korea.

But it seems many are not buying it, with netizens criticising Yunny in the comments.

“You will get Jennie’s shoulders for free if you only just exercise,” read a snarky comment.

“Will this country ever run out of insecurities?” sighed another netizen.

Well, her body, her money, her shoulders, right?

Yunny had at least one supporter who wrote, “All of you are just jealous trolls. Why sweat when you can inject?”

Other than fillers, another procedure called Trap Botox, which allegedly helps make the shoulder and neck line look longer, slimmer, and more elegant.
