Film Producer Tiffany Chen Gives Daughter-In-Law Bea Hayden Everything She Wants, Including Plots Of Land

We’ve all heard of nightmare stories about evil mother-in-laws.

However, it looks like Taiwanese actress Bea Hayden, 41, the wife of Hong Kong actor Jacky Heung, has it really good as the daughter-in-law of film producers Charles Heung and Tiffany Chen.

Tiffany, 65, recently sat for an interview where she shared about her relationship with Bea.

Bea and Jacky have been married for six years. They have a four-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son together.

“I think it’s strange to [want to] give your daughter-in-law a tough time. I don’t see why it’s necessary,” said Tiffany.

“I’ve never said a bad thing about Bea. I have also never scolded her. I say okay to everything she brings up, and try to give her everything she wants,” she added.

Tiffany said she had promised to give Bea a plot of land and so she kept to her word.

“[Bea] told me there was an empty plot of land available near her family home, so I told her ‘Okay, I’ll buy it’,” recalled Tiffany.

When Bea mentioned that the plot of land behind was also up for sale, Tiffany bought it too.

Then, upon finding that two other adjacent plots of land were also available, Tiffany decided she would take them all.

“[Bea] is now the owner of a very huge plot of land,” chuckled Tiffany.

Talk about a high SES flex.

Though Tiffany had a good relationship her mum-in-law, she understands how it can be “a turn-off” to have a mother-in-law who is naggy.

“She can do what she likes, and she can choose to [raise her kids] how she wants. I can be more relaxed too — a harmonious family brings prosperity.”

“If I don’t treat her well, I would only be putting my son in a spot. Why should he be forced to choose between us? If you treat your daughter-in-law well, she won’t make things difficult for your son. Nothing good comes out of treating her poorly, it’s most important that they are blissful,” added Tiffany.

Now why can’t all mums-in-law be like Tiffany?
