TVB Actors Who’ve Married Rich — They’re Now Dubbed “Billionaire Prince Consorts”

From a public relations firm boss to a beauty heiress — the partners of these Hong Kong stars are influential in their own right.

Over the years, several male TVB stars have been dubbed “billionaire prince consorts” due to their wives’ prestigious family backgrounds and immense wealth.

Among them are Carlo Ng Ka Lok, who is married to Stephanie Chow, the daughter of the CEO of Hong Kong property developer Chevalier International Holdings Ltd, and Benjamin Yuen, who wed fellow celeb Bowie Cheung, known to come from a wealthy family. Both actors are frequently named by the media as examples of such matches.

In recent times, many younger actors have married wealthy non-celebs, quickly becoming the talk of the entertainment scene as the “new generation of prince consorts”.

Matthew Ho Kwong Pui, 37

In August last year, the Let Me Take Your Pulse star announced his successful proposal to his girlfriend, Sarah Miu.

Sarah studied in the UK before returning to Hong Kong, where she worked at a well-known public relations firm. In 2020, she went on to establish her own PR company, Talens, which works primarily with luxury brands. Well connected within the entertainment scene, she is also known to be close to actress Grace Chan.

Said to come from a wealthy family, Sarah currently resides in Hong Kong’s main business district. According to reports, she was married in January 2021, divorced in mid-2022, and later began dating Matthew.

Matthew Ko Kwan Yin, 41

The former Mr Hong Kong announced his marriage in December 2024 to his mainland Chinese girlfriend, Christine Wong, who is 10 years his junior. The couple welcomed their daughter, Liona, in 2025 and are now based in Shenzhen.

Christine is said to be a prominent figure in the beauty industry, running a chain of traditional Chinese medicine beauty and wellness centres with four branches in Hong Kong. In October last year, her company was listed in the United States, and within a month, its share price reportedly surged sevenfold.

It was also rumoured that Christine’s net worth once skyrocketed to over HK$2.7 billion (S$445 million).

Alex Yung, 30

The Guizhou native, best known for his role as trainee solicitor Tony in the 2023 TVB drama Speakers of Law, has faced a challenging journey in showbiz. He spent years struggling without any major career breakthroughs and was reportedly looked down upon by his ex, singer Bella Lam’s mother, who opposed their relationship.

However, his wife, Winnie Fu, whom he married in November last year, is said to come from a prominent family with a vast business empire. She is also a jewellery wholesaler.

Alex has publicly acknowledged marrying into a wealthy family but has said he feels no pressure: “They’re very supportive of me. I’ll repay them with my immense love.”

Andy Wong Chi Tik, 42

Andy, known for his role in the long-running TVB sitcom Come Home Love: Lo and Behold, announced his engagement last May. His fiancée, Nicole, comes from a prestigious family and is the heir to Union Profit Cosmetic, a beauty manufacturing company that reportedly sells over 100 million facial masks annually.

Nicole, whose net worth is said to exceed HK$100 million (S$16 million), has also reportedly involved Andy in the family business. The couple welcomed a daughter late last year, with Andy sharing photos of the baby’s 100th-day celebration in December.
