COVID-19 Pandemic: Heartbreak for fans as release dates of movies postponed

Three months into the year of 2020 and the world is still in shock and panic over the ever rising number of cases of COVID-19. Today, the number of cases has amounted to 169,907 and the number of deaths is 6,520. Governments and organisations have introduced a few steps as precautionary measures against the spread of the disease.

One of the most important measure to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 is to minimize contact with people. People are advised to stay at home and not to gather in crowds including going to cinemas where people might be infected with the virus through human to human transmission. So, with the closure of cinemas in some countries and as fewer and fewer people go to the cinemas, the release dates of some movies had been postponed.
