The Minister of Youth and Sports then issued a statement that said that they will be temporarily closing and sanitising the facilities of the National Sports Council and National Sports Institute that Jackie has visited.

Other than that, he has also said:

“In collaboration and considering the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) advice and directives, athletes, coaches and staff who have been in close contact with the athlete will be separated and have been advised to self-quarantine in the hostel, undergo screening and follow the MOH’s further advice accordingly.”

The number of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia spiked yesterday (15th March) and the total number of cases right now is 428. As a member of the community, please practice good hygiene and take necessary precautions for the sake of safety!
