Charlotte Lawrence Reveals Meaning of ‘Why Do You Love Me’

The 19-year-old singer teamed up with the fashion company for their music performance series, LA Sessions.

In a Q&A video, Charlotte opened up about the meaning behind her track “Why Do You Love Me.”

“It’s all about the feeling of wanting somebody so badly – only when they don’t want you back – and loving them and wanting them and needing them, but only when they’re not nice to you or they’re mean to you,” she explained.

She added, “Then right when they like you again, you’re like, eh, I’m over it. But I’m aware of that and then I’m still doing it and going back to it. So yeah, it’s just me as a crazy person.”
