Kim So Hyun, Song Kang and Jung Ga Ram Promise to Return for Love Alarm Season 2
Eek! That’s me shrieking in delight because Love Alarm 좋아하면 울리는 has been confirmed for a second season!
Those who have seen the drama were probably expecting a second season because of that darned cliffhanger which made it evident that it wasn’t the end. And the official announcement coming from Netflix has made it all better. In a short video clip, the three leads Kim So Hyun, Song Kang and Jung Ga Ram greeted their fans and thanked them for their support while promising to return in the next season.
The Netflix original series based on a webtoon of the same name tells an interesting story about an app made by an anonymous person that allows someone to know if another person within a 10m radius likes them. Kim Jojo (Kim So Hyun) was hesitant to use the app at first but ends up with Hwang Sun-oh (Song Kang) after they ring each other’s love alarms. Meanwhile, Lee Hye-ong (Jung Ga Ram) has been loving Kim Jojo from afar but chooses to give way to his best friend.
Season 1 ends in a time skip where the two friends cross paths with Kim Jojo. This puts her in the dilemma of having to choose between the man who’s been secretly in love with her and guy whom she had loved before. Gah. After binge-watching this the moment it was released, I’ve been waiting for the continuation! I really want to see who she ends up with and I’m kind of desperately hoping that it will be with Jung Ga Ram’s character. I mean, come on, he’s just the perfect guy! I’m experiencing such a serious case of second lead syndrome right now that I’m worried he’ll really turn out to be the second lead!
Whoever she ends up with, I just hope that the second season will live up to the high expectations of fans. How about you, which male lead do you want for Kim Jojo?
