M’cyclist & pillion rider sent crashing in Tuas after car makes right turn without stopping

Did not give way

The collision between the two vehicles was caught on a dashboard camera and posted to the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page.

The accident appeared to have occurred on Nov. 4, 2019, at around 7:40am, according to the video’s timestamp.

A white Mazda could be seen driving through the industrial area in Tuas on the second lane, with vehicles going in the opposite direction in the next two lanes.

The Mazda then made a right turn into a side lane, without stopping to give way to vehicles on the opposite lanes.

A motorcycle then collided into the car.

The rider was sent crashing onto the road and the pillion rider was thrown into the air.

The white car then continued into the side road.

It is uncertain if the driver of the car stopped to assist the injured motorcyclists.
