Earned a quota spot for S’pore at Olympics

Neo came in second at the 10m Air Rifle Women Individual finals, clinching Singapore’s first medal in the category at the ASC on Nov. 5.

Besides bagging a medal and qualifying for the Olympics, Neo also earned a quota spot for Singapore’s shooting team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Talk about killing three birds with a single shot.

Only 0.2 points behind gold

Despite stiff competition, Neo performed brilliantly, with her final score only 0.2 points behind Chinese shooter, Yang Qian, who won the competition.

Neo scored a final total of 251.4 points, out of a maximum score of 261.6 points in the 10m air rifle category.

Bronze medalist Jung Eunhea scored 228.9 points, 22.5 points behind Neo.

Neo, an athlete with big dreams, aims to become an olympic gold medalist someday.
