Are Zheng Shuang and Zhang Heng Over?
Uh-oh! There seems to be a problem in paradise with the news that various insiders have revealed that Zheng Shuang and Zhang Heng have broken up, and from what we’ve gathered, it was a bad breakup.
Zheng Shuang and Zhang Heng have been going out for more than a year now and their romance gained even more scrutiny ever since they joined the reality show Meeting Mr. Right 2 女儿们的恋爱2. According to reports, the couple have called it quits a long time ago and declined to appear on a show together on October 17 citing conflict of schedule. Rumor has it that they are no longer on good terms, Zhang Heng no longer manages Zheng Shuang’s affairs and that their split has to do with money. There’s even talk of a possible lawsuit!
Netizens having mixed reactions toward this because some never really liked Zhang Heng for the actress. I’m really surprised after hearing this news because her love for him was evident, her sweet declarations online and the way she defend him spoke volumes. I remember being taken aback in one of the latest episodes of Meeting Mr. Right when the two had a row because of Zhang Heng’s tendency to yell at Zheng Shuang too much as her manager, so much so that Zheng Shuang said that she felt like it would be better if he was just her manager instead of her boyfriend. She walked out on him without warning at one point. Nonetheless, the show ended on a good note with the two acting lovey-dovey again in the following episode which now makes me wonder if the breakup isn’t true at all or if the sweetness was all for PR?
Whether the rumors are true or not, we can only wonder as neither Zheng Shuang nor Zhang Heng have spoken up.
