Chrissie Chau Thinks of Dickson Yu as a Little Brother

Since breaking up with Avis Chan (陳偉成) in 2013, 34-year-old Chrissie Chau‘s (周秀娜) love life has been a blank page. While her old love Avis is busy getting married, Chrissie has yet to meet the right person. Although she was recently speculated to be seeing TVB siu sang Dickson Yu (余德丞), Chrissie claims he is like her “little brother.”

Rumors first surfaced when reporters spotted Chrissie and 30-year-old Dickson watching the movies and Joey Yung‘s (容祖兒) concert together. Having met each other through mutual friend Mayao Ma (馬天佑), Chrissie and Dickson’s status as neighbors added fuel to the fire. However, Chrissie denied the dating allegations in a recent interview.

“My feelings toward him are that of a neighbor and a good friend,” Chrissie said. “He knows how to take care of others like a little brother. He is more like a brother to me.”

She continued, “He is a really good neighbor. We gossip about stuff happening in our neighborhood. He is very happy-go-lucky and a warm man.”

Still, she admits she has many suitors. Hearing this, the reporter asked if her pursuers were all tall, rich and handsome, and Chrissie joked, “I won’t like them if they’re not tall, rich and handsome, haha! That’s what everyone thinks, so that’s why no one dares to marry me! But to be honest, the feeling is the most important.”

Right now, Chrissie is very happy, and she believes she will receive her “happily ever after” one day. In the meantime, she is focused on improving herself so she could eventually expand her work studio, Nana Studio, which she established last year.
