Wu Chun’s Daughter Whips Up Dalgona, the Coffee That’s Taking the World by Storm

Oooh, now this is cute. It appears Wu Chun’s daughter Nei Nei has also caught on to the dalgona coffee craze aka the “Tiktok Coffee” as some would call it that’s got the rest of the quarantined world busy recreating. Hands up if you’ve tried the three ingredient (well four if you include the milk you pour it over) concoction whilst on lockdown and if you’ve also got the achy arms to show for it!

Judging from some of the singer’s posts, his daughter seems to enjoy whipping up yummy things in the kitchen and even successfully made banana cake all by herself recently. Today, Nei Nei has set her sights to literally whipping up some dalgona coffee to complement the avo on toast breakfast cooked up by Wu Chun.

Her hardwork has earned her a thumbs up from dad who said it tastes amazing!

If you haven’t caught the bug, there’s no better time than now to try out fun new things at home. So get those whisks out and try this delicious drink! If you’ve already done that, have a go with matcha or Milo the next time around – I know I will!

** If you want to whip up some delicious dalgona coffee but can’t be bothered to search for the recipe, we got you!  Just simply combine in a bowl 2 tablespoons of instant coffee (it has to be the instant kind and not the ground up ones from the bean), 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of hot water. Whip it up using a whisk or a hand held mixer until it forms peaks (kinda like icing).
Fill a separate cup with your favourite milk, chuck in some ice and spoon the whipped coffee mixture on top to enjoy. Et voila it’s that simple!
PS. I find it’s nicer to use a clear cup like Nei Nei above so you can see the coffee whip  filtering down into the milk. Yums! ?
