Rosanne Wong Updates After Retiring from the Entertainment Industry

It has been more than a decade since Rosanne Wong (黃婉君) was in pop duo group, 2R, with her younger sister, Race Wong (黃婉伶). No longer in the limelight, Rosanne got married to a famous dentist and gave birth to two sons.  While Rosanne enjoys spending time with her family, she also started her own skin care company.

While caring for her sons who are 9 and 6 years old, Rosanne revealed that she created a company that revolved around caring for her sons’ sensitive skin.  Rosanne created a range of organic skincare products for mother and children, and shared that she was able to launch her brand ahead of schedule because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking about her company, Rosanne shared, “It took eight years to develop this brand. My sons suffered from sensitive skin since they were little, and my heart ached after seeing them cope with itchy and painful skin conditions. This inspired me to take classes to develop my own [products]. During this outbreak, the Singapore government needs hand sanitizer, and I immediately made 2.5 million bottles for the government. I am glad that the brand just launched, and is already helping others.”

During the pandemic, Rosanne and her family stayed home and shopped online together, “My two sons are very easygoing, and we usually browse the Internet together. The most important thing while shopping for boys is to find clothes that let them move around easily and pants that are easy to put on and take off. They also like the color blue. Our family’s clothes usually match with the same color. The visual is important. Wearing matching outfits certainly makes the family feel closer.”

In their family of four, Rosanne admitted that her husband cares the most about matching outfits, “My husband is the most coordinated one. Whenever he asks me to buy menswear, he would like to wear the same style as his sons. He would feel more close to them.”
