Lin Chi-ling Shocks Netizens with Change in Appearance, Plastic Surgery Speculations Arise
Let’s be honest. No matter how modern our world is now, society seems to be harsher for women in the entertainment industry. They get more flak especially when it has something to do with physical appearance. Even for a top model celebrity like Lin Chi-ling (The Monkey King 3) who has been in the show business for years now, plastic surgery rumors would typically resurface from time to time.
It was when fashion brand STAYREAL released a 14-second video clip of the Taiwanese model that rumors of plastic surgery came up. In the clip, Lin Chi-ling was sending her best wishes to the brand for its 13th anniversary while walking outdoors. Most people commented on how she looked almost unrecognizable then speculated whether she had parts of her face done or whether it was just a beauty filter app that made her look different.
When I first saw this, I had started to think that the comments were right about her getting a nip and tuck. Her name would probably not even come to my mind if you had asked me who the lady was. But then she posted a cute selfie in her social media today (July 8) looking exactly like how we have always known her.
It seems like it might have really just been a beauty filter after all! With or without plastic surgery, I think this lady remains to look so fresh and beautiful when she’s already turning 46 this year!
