Some 1.4 million applications for vaccination under the government’s Covid-19 immunisation programme cannot be processed due to incomplete forms.

Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said missing details include the latest address of applicants and answers to questions on medical evaluations.

“Complete registration process is needed in order to secure an appointment for vaccination,” he said at a joint press conference with Health Minister Dr Adham Baba.

He said those who send incomplete applications will be reminded by SMS to re-submit their requests with the missing details.

Khairy said authorities could not depend on the address given in applicants’ MyKads.

“The address is crucial as the appointment is fixed at the nearest health centre,” he added.

Meanwhile, Khairy said he would meet with representatives from private hospitals on their involvment in helping the government with the vaccination programme.

He also announced that Malaysia might vaccinate teenagers, pending the results of tests being carried out by Pfizer and AstraZeneca.

Some 5.5 million people had registered for Covid-19 jabs as of today.

The bulk of these – 1,617,617 – are in Selangor, followed by Johor (706,873) and Kuala Lumpur (501,373).

Putrajaya saw the biggest increase in registrations at 69.5%, followed by Kuala Lumpur (33.9%) and Selangor (33.4%).

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about this, like you wrote
the book in it or something. I think that you can do with some pics
to drive the message home a little bit, but instead
of that, this is magnificent blog. A great read.
    I’ll certainly be back.
