Tony Hung Announces He Will Be a Father on His Wedding Day

TVB actor Tony Hung (洪永城) officially tied the knot with model and fitness entrepreneur Inez Leong (梁諾妍) on July 11. Doubling the happiness, he also announced that he will become a father, as Inez is four months pregnant.

Holding their ceremony at a 6-star hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, the newlyweds cheerfully met their friends, family, and the press in both Western and Chinese style. A hefty sum was spent on the venue, wedding attire, and gold jewelry.

The venue is believed to start from $30,0000 Hong Kong dollars, while Inez’s golden pig necklace alongside nine pairs of gold dragon and phoenix bracelets cost approximately HK $50,000. Additionally, there are 31 carats of diamond jewelry worn altogether, which is worth a whopping HK$1.2 million.

Confirming rumors that the couple is expecting, Tony revealed that Inez’ estimated due date is in December. When asked if he is more pressured to earn money now, he answered, “Happiness is a positive energy, and it would definitely be a great fuel towards working harder for the family.”

Since Tony proposed in February, the couple has been chasing for a baby, but Inez did not expect to succeed so quickly. Reporters teased that Tony should give conception tips to good friend Edwin Siu (蕭正楠). Smiling proudly, Tony joked, “Aside from the moves, you need to have the physique!”

As wedding guests are restricted to 50 people, friends arrived at their designated time. Edwin and Priscilla Wong (黃翠如) gifted two big golden chains to the newlyweds. Priscilla expressed, “I’m so happy for him! Inez is carrying the baby so beautifully.” As to when it is her turn, the actress shared, “I’m not in a hurry. It’s always good news if there is a baby, but it’s a really big responsibility.”
