Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino sadly had to miss his son Romeo‘s first Christmas.
On Friday (December 24), the 39-year-old Jersey Shore star took to Instagram to share a bunch of photos of his and wife Lauren‘s 7-month-old son celebrating Christmas, explaining that he’s not in any of the photos because he’s under quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19.
“So much to be grateful for this year. Romeo’s 1st Christmas, my 6th soberversary and the love of friends & family. Unfortunately I am not in any photos cause I am quarantining from testing positive from Covid yesterday. My symptoms are currently mild and I’m eating Christmas cookies in bed resting,” Mike wrote on Instagram.
He added, “Thank you to my family friends and fans that have always supported me. We are making best of a tough situation. Happy holidays & stay safe. The Comeback is always greater than the setback.”
MTV recently released the trailer for the upcoming season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, which will be premiering on January 6, 2022. Watch it here!
We wish Mike a speedy recovery.
