Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen Remember Their ‘Full House’ Dad Bob Saget After His Death

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are mourning the death of Bob Saget.

The 35-year-old fashion designers, and former actresses, paid tribute to the actor and standup comedian following news of his death on Sunday (January 9) at the age of 65.

“Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but know that he will continue to be by our side to guide us as gracefully as he always has,” Mary-Kate and Ashley wrote in a statement shared with People.

“We are thinking of his daughters, wife and family and are sending our condolences,” they added.

Mary-Kate and Ashley starred alongside Bob on the beloved family sitcom Full House from 1987 until 1995. The sisters split their time playing Michelle Tanner, the daughter of Bob‘s character Danny Tanner. They were the only main characters not to return for Netflix’s Fuller House reboot in 2016.
