These 5 NFTs Are The Most Expensive NFTs Sold in 2021, No. 1 Spot is RM384 million!

People have gained a whole jackpot solely from selling their NFT.

Slowly we are seeing people work their way into the world of NFT.

High demand in digital assets are the main reason to why NFT is selling like crazy because not only are these people a fan of digital art, but also consider themselves as investors and collectors.

So here’s a list of the most expensive NFTs sold in 2021!

1. The Merge by Pak (US$91.8 million)

The Merge by Pak has taken the No. 1 spot for the most expensive NFTs ever sold for a whopping US$91.8 million (RM384,070,448)!

Digital artist, Pak is another big name in the NFT industry, but till now his identity remains a mystery.

2. Everydays: The First 5000 Days by Beeple (US$69 million)

Mike Winkellman, or famously known as Beeple sold his NFT for US$69 million (RM288,657,882.32) to Vignesh Sundaresan or also known as MetaKovan, and now claims his spot as the 2nd most expensive NFT ever sold.

Having a large fan base with over 2.5 million followers all over social media channels was one of the reason why his NFT was sold at a high price.

3. Human One by Beeple (US$28.9 million) 

Another one of Beeple’s collections has taken the top 5 spot of the most expensive NFT’s sold in 2021, and this time its a moving portrait of an astronaut walking.

Unlike the usual NFTs, this one combines physical elements and what makes it even more special is the virtual avatar display which will keep on changing as long as Beeple lives!

This NFT was sold for a whopping US$28.9 million (RM120,901,634.77).

4. CryptoPunk #7523 by Larva Labs (US$11.7 million)

Created by John Watkinson and Matt Hall from Larva Labs, their Alien punks have always been a huge hit and this CryptoPunk #7532 is now at the 4th place with US$11.7 million (RM49,219,575).

Similar to the other 9 Alien punks, each one has its own different feature, which in this case is seen wearing a medical mask on.

5. CryptoPunk #7804 by Larva Labs (US$7.56 million)

Lastly, at the 5th place is taken by another Alien punk by Larva Labs, CryptoPunk #7804 that was sold for US$7.56 million (RM31,623,480).

As for this one, it has a pipe in his mouth and is wearing small shades with a cap facing forward.
