Not Cool! 5 Local Celebs Speak Out After Being Body Shamed

Being famous usually means that you are an easy target for harsh criticism from not only haters but fans as well. Everything you do will not satisfy everyone and people will always try to look for something wrong with you. That’s one price to pay for being in the spotlight.

When a person can’t find or think of anything wrong with someone, they usually resort to body shaming. Malaysian celebrities have always been a victim of this shameful act but some of them are taking a stand and calling the haters out. Here are 5 local celebs that have been body shamed:

1. Dato Fazley Yaakob

The celebrity chef posted a screenshot of someone who commented on his body size on his Instagram yesterday (Wednesday, 25th May). The 44-year-old replied to the comment, “have you ever been smacked by a chopping board?”.

It might do them good to smack some sense into them, no?
