Here’s How Cassie Lang Actress from ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Gracefully Reacted to Being Replaced for ‘Ant-Man 3’

Back in December 2020, it was announced that Kathryn Newton would be taking on the role of Cassie Lang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Days later, Emma Fuhrmann, the actress who played the role in 2019′s Avengers: Endgame, spoke out with her thoughts on being replaced for the upcoming movie.

Emma played the role of Scott Lang’s daughter in the flash forward in Avengers: Endgame, marking the second actress to play the role.

In her comments, Emma gracefully acknowledged the casting change.

“Just wanted to come on here & say that I see all your kind messages❤️ Thank you for all your support. It has meant the world to me. I was as sad as you all were to hear the news Thursday. I can only hope that this means there is something else for me in the future of the MCU,” she wrote on Twitter.

“I will always be grateful to have been a part of the MCU & the biggest movie of all time. Being an actress is still my #1 passion & I look forward to what the future holds. Xo Emma ❤️”

Back in August 2019, Emma dished that she was ready and waiting to return to the role of Cassie Lang, and wanted to suit up as her hero counterpart.
