Idris Elba & Wife Sabrina Wear Colorful Outfits to ‘Luther: The Fallen Sun’ Premiere in NYC

Idris Elba is getting support from his wife on his big night.

The 50-year-old actor was joined by wife Sabrina Elba at the premiere of his new Netflix movie Luther: The Fallen Sun on Wednesday evening (March 8) held at the Paris Theater in New York City.

Director Jamie Payne was also in attendance along with cast members Thomas Coombes, Andy Serkis with wife Lorraine Ashbourne, and Dermot Crowley.

In Luther: The Fallen Sun — an epic continuation of the award-winning television saga reimagined for film — a gruesome serial killer is terrorizing London while brilliant but disgraced detective John Luther (Elba) sits behind bars. Haunted by his failure to capture the cyber psychopath who now taunts him, Luther decides to break out of prison to finish the job by any means necessary.

Cynthia Erivo also stars in the movie.
