Chris Pine Reveals Working on ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ With Michelle Rodriguez Was ‘Exciting’

Chris Pine hits the red carpet for the latest premiere of his new movie, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, held at Le Grand Rex on Wednesday (March 22) in Paris, France.

The 42-year-old actor met up with all of his co-stars, Michelle RodriguezHugh GrantSophia LillisJustice SmithRegé-Jean Page, as well as producer Jeremy Latcham, and directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley.

Ahead of posing for group pics, many of the cast were seen snapping pictures and signing autographs with legions of their fans who came out for the screening.

Just recently, Chris opened up to Den of Geek about his interest in his role in the movie and also revealed what one of the biggest reasons he signed on for it.

“It seems to fit in nicely with the kind of characters I seem to like to play, which are normal dudes that task themselves with doing big things, even though they may not be good at it, or don’t have special powers, or don’t believe in themselves all that much,” Chris shared. “I haven’t ever played a character with extrasensory, special powers. I seem to like playing real humans trying to do big things.”

Chris then added that working with Michelle was a big bonus.

“Knowing I was going to work opposite Michelle Rodriguez was exciting,” he admitted.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves arrives in theaters on March 31.
