Tennis Star Matteo Berrettini Goes Shirtless For a Jog With Girlfriend Melissa Satta

Matteo Berrettini leads the way on a jog with Melissa Satta in Miami, Fla., on Tuesday afternoon (March 28).

The 26-year-old Italian tennis star was spotted with the Melissa, who is an Italian presenter, around The Pelican hotel.

Matteo recently defended his relationship with Melissa after it was questioned if their coupledom was hindering his tennis game.

In an interview with La Repubblica, Matteo argued that his private life is his own business.

“I’m having a romantic relationship like all the other kids my age. Normal, and here too I’m sorry that such a positive thing, which is a feeling after all, is turned around as a professional distraction,” he shared. “Beyond the haters, I’m sorry for those who know about tennis: they are not constructive criticisms and I don’t understand the reasons.”

Matteo went on, saying that “the more exposed you become – not even famous – and you become the target of attacks, especially if things don’t go as you would like, or as people would like. Personally I have no doubts about what I’m doing. I don’t feel I’ve taken a different path from tennis. I’m the same guy as always.”

Melissa was recently by Matteo‘s side in support as he competed in the Miami Open over the past weekend.
