Amanda Bynes is still getting care, but plans are already being made for what happens once she leaves the mental health hospital.

The 37-year-old former actress was first admitted in March after reportedly recognizing she was having a psychotic episode and calling 911 on herself.

Sources close to Amanda tell TMZ both she and the medical staff have been taking her stay week by week, and that she is not being forced to stay at the facility. However, she reportedly doesn’t quite feel ready to leave yet. And when she does, she will eenroll in an outpatient mental health treatment program.

She can make her own medical decisions, as she is no longer under conservatorship.

Amanda has reportedly worked with the medical staff to make sure there’s support when she leaves, and that the outpatient program will keep her safe, including arranging for care with doctors and specialists.

Amanda‘s parents “support her in any way they can,” according to the report.

There’s no set date for her release, although there is “hope she’ll be well enough to get out in the next week.”

Find out about what led to the hospitalization.
