Lee Min Ho Rumored to Star in New Movie, “Omniscient Reader”

As one of South Korea’s most recognized actors, Lee Min Ho’s temporary hiatus from the entertainment industry to fulfill his mandatory military service from 2017 to 2019 did not hinder his popularity. The 35-year-old actor continues to star in popular and high-profile projects. After completing filming obligations for Ask the Stars, Lee Min Ho is rumored to be taking part in the movie Omniscient Reader, which is adapted from a popular webtoon of the same name.

The movie revolves around the main protagonist, Dokja (Ahn Hyo Seop), who is an officer worker with a passion in reading web novels. One of his favorite novels, Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse, suddenly becomes reality, and Dokja is the only person with knowledge on how the world will end. With this knowledge, Dokja takes on the task of saving the world, and navigating the purgatory that becomes of the city.

Although Lee Min Ho’s agency admitted that the project is under consideration, the actor has not officially signed on board yet.
