Lisa Names The Most Memorable Moment From BLACKPINK’s “Coachella 2023” Performance

One song stood out to her for a special reason.

It’s officially been a month since BLACKPINK took Coachella 2023‘s weekend one main stage by storm, followed by an equally electrifying headlining performance the following weekend.

The group made history as the first K-Pop and girl group to headline the famous annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and their record-breaking performances are still fresh on fans’ minds.

The members took on Coachella preparations while also preparing for their BORN PINK world tour, a tour that is promised to be the “largest-ever world tour for a K-Pop girl group.”

Getting ready to take on one of the biggest music festivals in America, along with tackling their world tour was undoubtedly stressful, but they’ve managed to pull off both in spectacular fashion.

Recently, BLACKPINK’s Lisa landed the cover of Harper’s BAZAAR Korea, showing off her doll-like visuals while modeling CELINE and BVLGARI jewelry as a global ambassador of both luxury brands.

Along with her gorgeous photoshoot, she also sat down for an interview with the fashion magazine.

During her interview, she spoke about performing at Coachella 2023 and was asked if a particular moment was most memorable for her.

Understandably, after two weekends of unforgettable memories in the Coachella Valley desert, Lisa found it hard to choose, but one moment did stick out to her.

Hmm… It’s hard to choose. Each and every moment meant so much to me. But if I had to, I’d pick the ‘Whistle’ performance.

“Whistle” was released with “BOOMBAYAH” as BLACKPINK’s debut songs, making the fact they were able to perform both songs on the Coachella main stage even more meaningful.

Not only is the song our debut song, but also, we changed the entire choreography for Coachella.

Performing the song so close to the audience left a lasting impression on Lisa as she was able to feel the infectious energy of the crowd.

And because we were so close to the audience, we were able to see the looks in their eyes. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to forget the eye contact I made with the fans. I asked them to have fun with us, and it was as if they were responding to me with their eyes.
