Chris Brown Responds to Tinashe’s Comments About Their Collaboration & Her Regrets
Chris Brown is not happy with the comments that Tinashe made about working with him.
The two artists collaborated on the 2015 song “Player” and she recently said that she doesn’t think he should have been on the song.
Tinashe opened up during an interview on The Zach Sang Show last week, during which she also called her R. Kelly collaboration an “embarrassing” moment in her career.
“I literally block out that R. Kelly song from my mind. I forget that it even exists. That is so unreal that I even have a song with R. Kelly. That’s so embarrassing,” she said.
While speaking about Chris, she said, “That was a song that we all wanted it to be this big moment, this big single. So I feel like, in their mind, they were like, ‘You need the support.’ He was their biggest artist that they had on rhythmic radio at the time. To me, I was like, ‘Well, this is a pop song. So, I really don’t feel like we should put Chris on it.’ That doesn’t compute to me, but I don’t know.”
Chris commented on an Instagram post about the quotes.
“NAME 5 TINASHE songs or die … EVERYBODY DEAD,” he said, implying that no one knows Tinashe‘s music.
In another comment he said, “She full of dat evil. Shawty career is nonexistent. What’s more embarrassing is that she worked with all these people and not one us could save her career.”
Chris‘ name made headlines during the VMAs when a big star had a pointed reaction to hearing his name.
