Tom Brady’s Patriots Career to be Turned into Scripted Limited Series

Tom Brady‘s life will soon be the subject of a major TV series!

The 46-year-old legendary NFL quarterback’s days on the gridiron may be behind him, but Tom has a big project lined up!

Oscar-nominated screenwriters Paul Tamasy and Eric Johnson, who wrote The Fighter, will work on The Patriot Way about Tom‘s career with the New England Patriots.

The limited series will serve as an adaptation of Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge’s bestselling book 12: The Inside Story of Tom Brady’s Fight for Redemption, which came out in 2018.

“The New England Patriots dominated the professional sports landscape for 20 years,” Paul and Eric told Deadline. “Our series will bring the audience inside Gillette Stadium, better known as Fortress Foxboro, to shed new light on the thrilling, historic come-from-behind victories; the dark side of success; and building a culture of winning at all costs.”

The duo continued, “As journalists, we had a front-row seat for all the incredible drama that has unfolded both before and after the New England Patriots won their first super bowl [in 2001]. It’s a rich, character-driven story that probably will not be duplicated in our lifetime.”

Tom himself is not involved in the series’ production.
