Here’s Why Aaron Rodgers Is On Crutches at Jets vs Chiefs Game
Aaron Rodgers is unfortunately unlikely to play in the NFL for the rest of the season, but he’s at the New York Jets vs. Kansas City Chiefs game to cheer on his team.
The 39-year-old NFL quarterback is on crutches while attending the Sunday Night Football game on Sunday (October 1) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
So, what happened?
Aaron tore his Achilles tendon during the first official game of the season on September 11 and the injury happened just moments into the game.
When asked about his injury timeline, and how he possible could not return this season, Aaron said on The Pat McAfee Show, “Give me the doubts, give me the timetables, give me all the things that you think can, should or will happen, because all I need is that one little extra percent of inspiration. That’s all I need. So give me your doubts, give me your prognostications and then watch what I do.”
So, will he return to the NFL? Here’s what we know so far.
