Felix Wong, 62, Who Lost His Wife To Cancer 3 Years Ago, Rumoured To Have Proposed To Actress Emily Kwan, 57

Some netizens have called out the actor, who famously said he would not remarry after his wife died.

In 2020, Hong Kong actor Felix Wong lost his wife, Leung Kit Wah to acute myeloid leukemia. They were married for 32 years, and at that time, Felix said he would never marry again and hoped to be reunited with Kit Wah in their next life.

His declaration touched the hearts of many.

Well, it has been three years and it seems Felix, 62, may have changed his tune. Rumours claim he has proposed to 57-year-old Hong Kong actress Emily Kwan, whom he has reportedly been dating for a while now.

While there are netizens who are happy that Felix has “finally emerged from the haze after three years of mourning for his wife”, not everyone is happy about Felix finding love again.

Some disgruntled netizens have come out to criticise the actor for failing to abide by his promise of “not marrying for life.”

One even berated Felix for “not being able to bear with it for three years.”

Rumours of the pairing have been floating around since 2021.

Talk that Felix and Emily are an item started in 2021, when they were seen having dinner together twice in two weeks. At that time, both denied the rumours, with Emilly referring to Felix as her “childhood idol”. They had played husband and wife in HKTV drama Beyond the Rainbow.

On Monday (Oct 16), when asked to comment about the rumoured engagement, Emily said: “I’m so nervous. I’m waiting for the finale to be written.”

Wonder what she means by that.
