Cecilia Cheung Had To Be Rescued With A Chainsaw After A Power Outage Trapped Her In Factory Parking Lot For 30 Minutes

Was the chainsaw truly necessary to help the 43-year-old star escape the parking lot?

Since appearing on the second season of Chinese variety show, Sister Who Makes Waves 2 two years ago, Hong Kong actress-singer Cecilia Cheung has been hustling hard, riding on her popularity as a live streamer, bringing in millions, and even once crashing the servers at Douyin.

However, Ceci showed that she is no snowflake and was said to have displayed her professionalism during a recent live stream broadcast interruption in Hangzhou, China.

Due to a thunderstorm, there was a sudden power outage, which plunged everything into darkness, threatening to end the session early.

However, the crew creatively switched on their mobile phone flashlights to provide light, allowing Cecilia to successfully finish the last 15 minutes of the livestream broadcast.

But it seems the bad luck did not end there.

Even with the blackout, Ceci still finished up the last 15 minutes of the live stream.
No power? No problem. There is always the trusty mobile phone flashlight.

Due to the blackout, the electric gate was not working, trapping everyone in the parking lot.

Cecilia and her entire team had to wait for about half an hour for someone to arrive with a, um, chainsaw to saw the gantry off before they could leave.

Throughout the entire ordeal, Cecilia was said to be incredibly patient without a displaying any airs. She politely thanked the people who rescued them, leaving a favourable impression on everyone present.

Cecilia and her team were rescued by men with chainsaws.
