U Mobile expands home broadband coverage, plans now start from RM99

U Mobile has announced that the company will be expanding its U Home Fibre home broadband catering to users in high-rise buildings on the western coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

The company said that the U Home Fibre will be made available to over one million homes through a partnership with Time by leveraging on its fibre infrastructure.

To make the occasion, the company is launching a new U Home Fibre plan offering 300Mbps speed at RM139 per month.

It is also revising the monthly subscription price of existing plans where the 100Mbps plan will now be priced at RM99 (previously RM129), 500Mbps at RM159 (previously RM199) and 1Gbps at RM289 (previously RM299).

The company is also offering a RM20 rebate off monthly fees for all U Home Fibre broadband plans for 24 months.

The offer is valid from now till March 31, 2024.

Back in November last year, U Mobile said that it has signed a collaboration agreement with Time as part of an effort to increase its fibre broadband service reach.
