“Is That Uncle Jackson Wang?”: Chinese Comedian Wows As He Channels The Idol In CNY Show

We wonder what Jackson thinks?

Chinese comedian Song Xiaobao is known for hamming it up in skits and playing “ugly” characters on variety shows, but fans got to see a different side to the 43-year-old funnyman on Dragon TV’s Chinese New Year’s Lantern Night last Saturday (Feb 24).

Appearing on stage with a band of dancers, Xiaobao, who sported an oversized suit and wavy hair, looked swoon-worthy as he channelled singer Jackson Wang, 29.

But what got Xiaobao the loudest cheers were his nifty dance moves and swag as he rapped to the idol’s song ‘Papillon’.

“I can’t hide it anymore! I am very satisfied with this version of myself,” wrote the Cherry actor on his Weibo after the performance aired.

Netizens were equally impressed with the resemblance and quickly took to the comments.

“Who knew Xiaobao could dance so well?” wrote a user.

“Is that Uncle Jackson Wang?” asked a netizen.

Another commented, “Are we getting a preview of how Jackson might look when he hits his 40s?”

Wait, that is not Jackson Wang.
