Han So-hee, Ryu Jun-yeol and Lee Hyeri Fiasco Ends with a Dating Confirmation from Both Sides

Yesterday, rumors swirled as Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee were spotted at the same hotel in Hawaii, sparking dating speculation. Though their agencies didn’t confirm, the presence of both stars in Hawaii fueled curiosity. Adding to the drama, Girl’s Day’s Hyeri, Ryu Jun Yeol’s ex-girlfriend of 7 years and co-star from the hit 2015 drama Reply 1988, posted a cryptic Instagram story with a photo of palm trees and the word “Interesting,” hinting at sarcasm towards the unfolding events. It’s given rise to speculation that the breakup announced last November 2023 was due to a third party.

Han So Hee subsequently posted her own Instagram Story of a dog with a knife, where she seemingly denied involvement in any relationship drama. Similarly, she seemed to be directly responding to Hyeri when she wrote, “I also find this interesting.” Han So Hee who first rose to fame as the other woman in the 2020 drama The World of the Married is now among the most sought after actresses in Korea. News of the two ladies and Ryu Jun Yeol dominated headlines throughout the day.

The plot thickened when the 29-year-old actress confirmed her relationship with Ryu Jun Yeol on her blog, clarifying that it started after his breakup with Hyeri. She also apologized for her now-deleted Instagram post. On the morning of March 16, Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency also confirmed the 37-year-old actor’s relationship with Han So Hee, putting an end to the speculation but sparking further interest in their romance.
